The Chief II starter set contained a DCS100 command station, a DT300 throttle, a UP3 Universal Panel, and a LT1 LocoNet tester. The set also included a premium decoder in N, HO, or G scales.

In addition the Chief II starter set was available as a Radio Equipped Set.
