The Munster Train Depot

Our Story

The Munster Train Depot opened on May 12th 2020 at 231 Ridge Rd Munster IN 46321.

Owned by Frank Rapin, formerly Frank's N Scale Trains, the brick and mortar store is a fruition of 12 years of show selling experience and more than 45 years of model train experience.

The store boasts a large selection of N scale with over 400 locomotives, 1200 freight cars, endless detail parts, and an array of scenery supplies. It also houses a growing HO selection as well as limited Z scale products.

The main attraction, however, is the 160 foot dual mainline that winds through the store. This layout is the roots of the NWI N Scalers club which meets multiple times a week. Members have the opportunity to run 100+ car trains and learn the process of building a layout.

Nestled in the heart of Northwest Indiana, the store is a must see for any modeler.
