Digitrax encourages and supports owner installation of decoders.

Most modelers have the common sense, judgment & skills needed to successfully install decoders.

Complete step by step instructions are included with each decoder.

Follow the decoder test procedure outlined in your starter set manual to check each decoder's functionality before you install it.

Lots of people are converting to DCC so, ask around & you will probably find someone nearby that can give you advice.

If you choose not to do your own installations, your local dealer can handle the installation or refer you to someone who can.

Available on DH121 & DH163 Series Decoders
Simplifies decoder wiring and installation.
Lets you share decoders among multiple locos wired with harnesses.
This is a great way to get your HO club started in DCC. Have all club members wire their locos with a wiring harness and use a dummy plug to run on regular DC at home. When the locos come to run at the club, just replace the shorting plug with a club owned decoder and you are ready to go.
